To deliver on the Y’s commitment to nurturing the potential of every child, our program helps campers discover what they are passionate about, form healthy relationships, and obtain a sense of belonging. Summer camp at the Y invites youth to be inspired through creative play, field trips, sports, and more. It is an opportunity for youth to stay engaged socially and academically. Camp Metro Day Camp sessions are held at the West Side Girl Scout Leadership Center in San Antonio. Girls will get hands-on experience and explore skills in a variety of areas including community service, cultural arts, healthy living, environmental awareness, STEM and so much more!
Our camp offers a unique week-long stay in the beautiful Texas Hill Country for boys and girls ages 6-18. Each week is catered to either Elementary, Junior High, or High school ages, with a day camp (ages 5-12) at the end of the Summer. Each week is filled with awesome outdoor activities such as canoeing, high ropes course, horseback riding, archery, riflery, and more! While the days are filled with various activities, the nights are geared for cabin bonding as cabins learn together from God’s Word and create memories and relationships that last.
