Our CTE Programs
Judson ISD offers 22 Career and Technical Education programs of study at our three comprehensive high schools (programs vary by location).
Free Pre-K 3 & 4
Judson ISD will be enrolling 3 and 4-year-olds for our all-day, FREE Pre-K program. Offered at 20 campuses and accepting students from outside Judson ISD! JISD Registration begins February 7th, for the upcoming 2022- 2023 school year.
Year-Round School
Converse Elementary is an Additional Days School Year Campus to better meet the needs of our students (PreK 3 -5th grade). The ultimate goal is to decrease the learning loss from long breaks, such as a traditional summer. The program has many benefits for our students, including having access to a full-time librarian and gifted and talented teacher, additional targeted interventions, and differentiated small group instruction.
Spanish Immersion
The Spanish Immersion Program is designed for English-speaking students who wish to become fluent in Spanish. Students enter the program in first grade. Spanish Immersion teachers follow a scope and sequence for Language Arts that is unique to meet the program’s goals. The scope and sequence for mathematics, science, and social studies match a traditional English-speaking classroom, with the only difference being Spanish as the language of instruction. The inherent nature of these programs creates an active parent-school partnership, which is essential for the success of the program and the student. This program can be found at two of our elementary campuses, Hartman Elementary and Wortham Oaks Elementary.
STEM Programs
Judson ISD is offering STEM programs for students in grades PreK- 12. We believe it is never too young to prepare students for life in an increasingly competitive and technological society by offering a unique opportunity for hands-on learning so that our students are ready to meet the challenges in the real world.
Our Mission at Giant Steps Early Learning School is to provide an accelerated educational program for children ages two through five years which allows every child to become independent, self-confident and inquisitive learners. Our program offers your child a unique educational experience through a Challenging Curriculum (Experienced and Bachelor/Degreed Texas Certified Teachers), a Natural Outdoor Play Environment, and School and Family Connection’ through our monthly special events.

Ms. Sue has been inspiring creativity in kids and adults since 2007. Situated on a 1.5 acre hill country setting, Ms. Sue’s is the perfect place to paint, think and create. Ms. Sue offers weekly classes for kids of all ages and workshops and special events for everyone! If you have always wanted to learn to draw or paint, come check us out! Ms. Sue has brought many unskilled artists to the professional level! She is also known for helping kids develop confidence in their own abilities to create and solve problems. Ms. Sue’s philosophy is to teach people how to think outside the box and resolve problems creatively. We need creative doctors, business people, engineers, scientists, teachers and builders! From first steps to handstands, My Gym grows with your little ones. We bring the fun to you with our mobile program and My Gym LIVE online classes for ages 6 weeks to 10 years. Our variety of engaging, age-appropriate play-based programs are designed to create a positive connection to physical fitness. Our fun songs, dances, puppet shows, tumbling and sports skills (and much more!) build life skills through meaningful play. Your first class is Always Free, Always Fun!
One-on-one, year round math and reading tutoring for grades K-5
Does your child love to learn about STEM topics or about the Human Body or Harry Potter? We are currently offering $10 online Classes Monday – Friday. Your kids will love every class and learn about new topics and gain valuable knowledge every class. Apple Pi Tutoring is a private virtual tutoring service offered to any child in a grade level ranging from EC-6th. We do not want any child left behind during this pandemic so give us a call @ 210-701-1757
Each session consists of all days listed at the times given. Each child attending camps should bring his/her own copy of Level 1 Student Workbook and Level 1 Practice Reader, which are workbooks available for purchase when you click on each link. Or if you choose, the Level 1 Student Workbook and Level 1 Practice Reader will be provided to your child at camp for an additional $25 supply fee.

Colonial Hills United Methodist School (CHUMS) serves children 18 mos. – Kindergarten. Our goal is to foster your child’s development through a developmentally appropriate curriculum emphasizing hands-on activities and discovery methods of learning.
