MAVERICKS GYMNASTICS
At Mavericks Gymnastics your child can get everything they need in gymnastics from walking age to Elite. We use fun, proven logical progressions, set in an challenging achievement based program.
Ms. Sue has been inspiring creativity in kids and adults since 2007. Situated on a 1.5 acre hill country setting, Ms. Sue’s is the perfect place to paint, think and create. Ms. Sue offers weekly classes for kids of all ages and workshops and special events for everyone! If you have always wanted to learn to draw or paint, come check us out! Ms. Sue has brought many unskilled artists to the professional level! She is also known for helping kids develop confidence in their own abilities to create and solve problems. Ms. Sue’s philosophy is to teach people how to think outside the box and resolve problems creatively. We need creative doctors, business people, engineers, scientists, teachers and builders! Campers can select from a wide range of academic, arts, athletics, and enrichment camps led by Saint Mary’s Hall faculty, staff, alumni, as well as local certified teachers and trusted business partners.

At Heintz Preschool Literacy Camp, we cater to every child’s creative and academic needs while fostering a love for learning through both indoor and outdoor play. Each week, we highlight a classic children’s book through activities and projects appropriate for each age group. From first steps to handstands, My Gym grows with your little ones. We bring the fun to you with our mobile program and My Gym LIVE online classes for ages 6 weeks to 10 years. Spare Parts’ purpose is unprecedented in San Antonio. It is the leader in reuse education through the arts. Spare Parts founded the MINI ART MUSEUM in 2013 to bring the fine arts museum experience to schools and the community, world wide.

The concept behind Friends of Spare Parts dba Spare Parts was developed in 2010 by Founder and Executive Director, Mary Elizabeth Cantú, as a response to the lack of arts funds and resources in PreK-12 classrooms.
In 2018 Spare Parts became a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization through the Friends of Spare Parts. Spare Parts believes partnership and programs centered on creative reuse practice builds smart, lasting and win/win initiatives. Professional Development Program (RE-Edu), Creative Reuse Education Program (RE-Mix), Spare Parts Exhibitions/Long-term projects (RE-Create) are a few of the creative reuse focused programs and resources offered regularly. As a result, Spare Parts is creating a pathways to reducing landfill tonnage.

The idea was born from Asia Klekowicz and Ryan York’s belief that kids, especially in historically underserved neighborhoods, don’t get a complete education. We spent 10 years teaching, leading, and seeing glimmers of what could be when teachers are trusted, kids are loved for who they are, and administrators don’t measure students by just test scores — but we never saw those pieces fully come together.
Inspired by what could be and disappointed by what was, we quit our jobs, pooled our savings, and traveled the country searching for schools where creativity flourished and every student and teacher was valued. On our journey, we found ourselves in San Antonio, fell in love with the people, and decided never to leave.
