At Shooting For Success, we’re so much more than basketball training. We are a youth and elite basketball organization dedicated to teaching athletes the correct basketball fundamentals, a better understanding of the game, and a set of core values we expect our players to demonstrate on and off the court. We offer basketball camp, weekly, throughout the summer and during school breaks. We also offer year-round private training, youth fundamentals small-group training, and have competitive club teams in various age divisions. SFS Founder and Lead Trainer, David ‘DJ’ Jones played professional basketball overseas and is known throughout the world as ‘The Shot Doctor’ for his shooting mechanics and training. Language Immersion Summer Camps in French, Spanish, Mandarin and Russian
Our week-long summer language immersion camps are a fun opportunity for children ages 3-10 to begin learning a new language or keep their skills during school breaks. Campers participate in hands-on activities, such as arts and crafts, cooking, games, storytelling, and singing while acquiring a target language.
New Works SA is a San Antonio-based theatre education non-profit dedicated to providing accessible theatre education through our educational scholarships & performance opportunities for students interested in the arts. The Musical this semester will be Heathers the Musical: Teen Edition. This musical will be 13+ only- read the class description before signing up. Musical rehearsals will start on March 2nd and will be every Saturday from 5pm to 7pm. Show dates will be May 31st, June 1st and 2nd. Vivaldi Music Academy is the largest and fastest growing music school in the US and excited to open a new location in San Antonio to bring quality music education and performance opportunities to the city. We welcome all age and levels with private lessons in piano, violin, guitar, drums, cello, voice, and more. We also offer early childhood music program, Vivaldi Seasons, for babies and toddlers from ages 1-5 years old – there is a program for everyone to explore! Camp registration is processed online. Registration will open Wednesday, March 1st at 8AM, and will remain open until classes are filled. There will be a non-refundable $35 registration fee per student. This year the registration fee includes a camp t-shirt. All camps are based on the incoming grade for the 2023-2024 school year.
Tuition
Camp tuition is refundable for cancellations made before May 15. In the event that a camp does not make sufficient enrollment, SGES will work to place the camper into an acceptable alternative camp. If placement is not possible, an account credit will be issued. We are unable to prorate or discount tuition due to camper absence.
Morning Care/ Lunch Bunch / Late Care
Morning care will be available from 8:00 AM – 9:00 AM. Campers should be dropped off in the GYM each morning and will be taken to their camps at 9:00 AM. Lunch Bunch is offered each day from 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM. Campers need to bring their own lunch and drink each day. Late care will be offered from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. All late care students will need a snack, this will not be provided by St. George. Late care students will be on the playground until 5:30 PM. Any student not picked up by then will be signed out in the Leadership Center (LC). Any student not picked up by 5:30 PM will incur late charges of $1 per minute.
Camp Sessions
Morning camp sessions are from 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM. Afternoon sessions are from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. Parents will drop campers off and pick them up at the GYM. Campers should be dropped off no earlier than 10 minutes prior to session start time.
Security
St. George will provide standard campus security during the camp day, which includes all gates being locked at all time with access only granted through the Leadership Center until late care. We will have an SAPD officer on campus throughout the day.

Girls Inc. of San Antonio is an affiliate of the national Girls Incorporated organization that was established locally in November 2004. With a mission to inspire all girls to be strong, smart, and bold, Girls Inc. of San Antonio helps girls age 6 to 18 overcome barriers that prohibit them from achieving their personal, educational, and career goals.
Glenda Woods Girls University is a full-day summer day camp for girls in 1st-6th grade. Each week has a different theme and includes core activities in art, science, reading, and sports. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks provided. Weekly field trips and multiple swim days!

Camp sessions are held at Camp La Jita, a beautiful 236-acre camp situated along the Sabinal River near Utopia. Girls will develop independence while under the supervision of specially trained camp staff who help girls plan activities to create a unique camp experience.
