Our NAEYC accredited program runs August through May, and is carefully planned to meet the developmental needs and learning styles of each child through hands-on learning experiences. We provide a loving, Christian environment for children 12 months old thru Second Grade that offers developmentally appropriate materials and experiences, enabling each child to grow into who they are created to be and rooting them in the story of God’s love. In addition to low ratios, we offer before and after school extended care, Chapel, Music, Motor Skills, Art, Library and STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). We strive for school to be a positive learning experience and encourage curiosity, questions, and discovery of God’s world.
This is a place full of wonder and exploration! A place that nurtures the curiosity and intellectual growth of children in preschool through eighth grade. A place that provides children with the time, space, materials, and relationships they need in order to learn and grow as whole people.
Give your child a unique learning experience.
Montessori Schoolhouse is not a daycare, although at the end of the day your child will have had a day of feeling cared for! We follow the Montessori Method of learning, developed by Dr. Maria Montessori, to help children across a range of intellectual, emotional and developmental levels acquire a sound background for academic skills, creative skills and an interest in pursuing learning.
Our Special Education Advocates assist families as they navigate the world of Special Education. They speak the language of Special Education and have experience on both sides of the ARD table. Our advocates empower families as they collaborate with schools and service providers to create student- centered individualized education plans that provide the support, setting and programming each child needs.
Pinnacle Montessori is a caring Montessori environment serving children from birth up to 10 years old. We strive to help each child feel loved and secure in their environment. Contact us today for a tour or to attend one of our Open House dates.
At Playful Hearts, we are proud to offer the early childhood music program Music Together®. Music Together® classes are research-based music classes that are designed to be non-formal and non-performance oriented, so your child can learn at his or her own pace, in a way that’s developmentally appropriate. We offer 45 minute mixed-age classes for children birth – 5 years old and the grownups who love them.®

The Saint Mary’s Hall Dance Program is a unique home for students who are interested in the study of dance. At SMH, students have the ability to participate in a variety of dance forms from ballet to hip-hop. Each dance student is nurtured by expert faculty to perform at their maximum potential in their school environment where they have the opportunity to regularly perform for their teachers, fellow students, and family members.
Dance at Saint Mary’s Hall provides students with the opportunity to foster their love of dance; participate in creative expression through movement; develop the kinesthetic skills of strength, endurance and grace; cultivate pride and confidence in themselves; progress in their discipline of practice; and become part of a unique community of dance artists.
Saint Mary’s Hall Dance has a long tradition of excellence and strives to develop an appreciation of dance in each and every student. Some of our dancers go onto participate in dance while in college and beyond, but all our dancers hold within their hearts a deep love for perfecting their craft with their fellow dance artists, guest artists, and teachers during their time at Saint Mary’s Hall.
Since 1886, San Antonio Academy of Texas has done more than prepare boys for high school. We educate them to succeed in life—scholastically, emotionally, and physically. Academy boys graduate with a strong academic foundation, a positive self-image, and a love for learning about the world around them. At SAA, boys are taught to BE HONEST. BE KIND. BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE©. Academy graduates excel in high school, both locally and at some of the most respected preparatory schools in the nation.

SAISD is as diverse and historically rich as the city whose name it shares. As San Antonio’s founding school district, SAISD neighborhood schools have served the heart of the Alamo City for more than 100 years. Today, SAISD serves about 47,000 students across more than 90 schools in our culturally proud, urban community.
We offer a wide variety of programs, including dual-language, career exploration and college-preparation. Along with traditional school models, we also offer academies comprising non-traditional grade ranges such as PK-8.
True to our roots, SAISD continues to pave the way in San Antonio with the city’s only public Montessori school, single-gender campuses, and K-12 International Baccalaureate framework. Additionally, the District has grown 5 P-TECH programs in just a few years.
Outside of the traditional classroom, the spirit of SAISD can be found in programs and activities from extensive athletics to fine arts – including a mariachi curriculum that was pioneered in our District before being modeled across the nation.
From forward-thinking academic and extracurricular programs at our neighborhood schools to a growing list of specialized schools, SAISD students can customize their own educational experience and find what truly drives them. Every student has a journey, and SAISD is supporting that path wherever it may lead for each of its students.

We are San Antonio’s first and only dual language Catholic school. We recently received national recognition when the Newman Society named us as one of twelve Catholic schools in the entire country to be named to its National Honor Roll for excellence in faith, academics and service. Our community is diverse and dynamic, but we are united in being mission driven for college and heaven. We partner with University of the Incarnate Word, Boston College, University of Notre Dame, UTSA and Pre-K 4 SA to advance this mission. Students may enroll starting at 3 years old!
