Saint Mary’s Hall is the premier school in San Antonio and provides opportunities that cultivate student passion. From each teachable moment in Montessori to finding a college that’s the right fit, Saint Mary’s Hall advises our students as individuals and creates a culture of trust where every student is known. Our passionate, expert faculty and staff encourage students as they come to know their world through a variety of lenses, guiding their growth as critical thinkers and creative problem-solvers. As students discover their courage in the classroom, their voice on the stage, and their strength on the field, we challenge them to persevere. With a rich, rigorous curriculum, insightful discourse, and expansive opportunities for exploring the world and discovering oneself, Saint Mary’s Hall sends forth confident graduates armed with the skills, knowledge, and self-awareness needed to thrive in college and find fulfillment in life.
The Saint Mary’s Hall Dance Program is a unique home for students who are interested in the study of dance. At SMH, students have the ability to participate in a variety of dance forms from ballet to hip-hop. Each dance student is nurtured by expert faculty to perform at their maximum potential in their school environment where they have the opportunity to regularly perform for their teachers, fellow students, and family members.
Dance at Saint Mary’s Hall provides students with the opportunity to foster their love of dance; participate in creative expression through movement; develop the kinesthetic skills of strength, endurance and grace; cultivate pride and confidence in themselves; progress in their discipline of practice; and become part of a unique community of dance artists.
Saint Mary’s Hall Dance has a long tradition of excellence and strives to develop an appreciation of dance in each and every student. Some of our dancers go onto participate in dance while in college and beyond, but all our dancers hold within their hearts a deep love for perfecting their craft with their fellow dance artists, guest artists, and teachers during their time at Saint Mary’s Hall.

Academy boys graduate with a strong academic foundation, a positive self-image, and a love for learning about the world around them. At SAA, boys are taught to BE HONEST. BE KIND. BE THE BEST THEY CAN BE©. Academy graduates excel in high school, both locally and at some of the most respected preparatory schools in the nation.

SAISD is as diverse and historically rich as the city whose name it shares. As San Antonio’s founding school district, SAISD neighborhood schools have served the heart of the Alamo City for more than 100 years. Today, SAISD serves about 47,000 students across more than 90 schools in our culturally proud, urban community.
We offer a wide variety of programs, including dual-language, career exploration and college-preparation. Along with traditional school models, we also offer academies comprising non-traditional grade ranges such as PK-8.
True to our roots, SAISD continues to pave the way in San Antonio with the city’s only public Montessori school, single-gender campuses, and K-12 International Baccalaureate framework. Additionally, the District has grown 5 P-TECH programs in just a few years.
Outside of the traditional classroom, the spirit of SAISD can be found in programs and activities from extensive athletics to fine arts – including a mariachi curriculum that was pioneered in our District before being modeled across the nation.
From forward-thinking academic and extracurricular programs at our neighborhood schools to a growing list of specialized schools, SAISD students can customize their own educational experience and find what truly drives them. Every student has a journey, and SAISD is supporting that path wherever it may lead for each of its students.
