Our CTE Programs
Judson ISD offers 22 Career and Technical Education programs of study at our three comprehensive high schools (programs vary by location).
Free Pre-K 3 & 4
Judson ISD will be enrolling 3 and 4-year-olds for our all-day, FREE Pre-K program. Offered at 20 campuses and accepting students from outside Judson ISD! JISD Registration begins February 7th, for the upcoming 2022- 2023 school year.
Year-Round School
Converse Elementary is an Additional Days School Year Campus to better meet the needs of our students (PreK 3 -5th grade). The ultimate goal is to decrease the learning loss from long breaks, such as a traditional summer. The program has many benefits for our students, including having access to a full-time librarian and gifted and talented teacher, additional targeted interventions, and differentiated small group instruction.
Spanish Immersion
The Spanish Immersion Program is designed for English-speaking students who wish to become fluent in Spanish. Students enter the program in first grade. Spanish Immersion teachers follow a scope and sequence for Language Arts that is unique to meet the program’s goals. The scope and sequence for mathematics, science, and social studies match a traditional English-speaking classroom, with the only difference being Spanish as the language of instruction. The inherent nature of these programs creates an active parent-school partnership, which is essential for the success of the program and the student. This program can be found at two of our elementary campuses, Hartman Elementary and Wortham Oaks Elementary.
STEM Programs
Judson ISD is offering STEM programs for students in grades PreK- 12. We believe it is never too young to prepare students for life in an increasingly competitive and technological society by offering a unique opportunity for hands-on learning so that our students are ready to meet the challenges in the real world.
Challenge Island’s proprietary programs are designed to meet the needs of today’s playful, imaginative child and tomorrow’s globally successful adult. We approach STEAM education through a collaborative, multi-disciplinary model that builds fundamental academic, interpersonal, and social skills and qualities. Kids tell us Challenge Island feels like a party – and indeed it is a celebration of your child’s unlimited potential!
Axiom Grappling Academy is a private martial arts gym that offers small classes in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and Catch Wrestling for all ages.
We are San Antonio’s only Catch Wrestling School and are proud to be affiliated with Snake Pit U.SA Catch Wrestling Association and Rigan Machado BJJ.
Play Society is the first toy lending library in San Antonio! A toy library is just what it sounds like: a place to borrow toys! Experience that new toy feeling again and again without all the clutter! Not to mention, borrowing toys is a much more sustainable way to play and take care of our planet.

Anthem Offers San Antonio Dance Classes for toddlers, children, tweens, and teens! Color Me Mine Huebner Oaks is a paint-your-own-pottery studio open daily from 10-9am. We are walk-in based but also offer field trips, a private party area, and can work with groups to do fundraising and events. The studio has a $10 studio fee per painter and all pieces are individually priced.
