Are you as ready as we are for the return of fireworks, barbecues, and parades for the 2023 Fourth of July celebration? We have curated the perfect palette of RED, WHITE, and BLUE events happening in and around San Antonio this Independence Day weekend.

Fireworks at Six Flags | 17000 IH-10 West | July 1-4 10:30 A.M.– 9:00 P.M. & water park: 12:00- 8:00 P.M.(7:00 P.M. on the 4th of July).
Fireworks at closing each night with extended show on Forth of July.

4th of July Celebration, SeaWorld San Antonio | July 2-4, 10:00 A.M.–10:00 P.M.
In honor of Independence Day, guests will get in the patriotic spirit when they witness a colorful fireworks display at Bayside – free with admission to SeaWorld. This stunning mix of pyrotechnics is set to a triumphant musical score. This jaw-dropping show will illuminate SeaWorld’s skyline and captivate guests with its spectacular display of colorful flames and twinkling sparks.

SATURDAY, JULY 1

4th of July Festival, Lauro G. Deleon Floresville Event Center | Doors open at 4:00 P.M.

Freedom Fiesta, Central Park – 201 S. Austin St., Seguin | 6:00-11:00 P.M.
Enjoy a night of food, family, and live entertainment with Seguins very own Uncle Sam, Texas Rep John Kuempel.

2nd Annual Firework Show, The Greenline- 2532 Sidney Brks Dr | 6:00-10:00 P.M.

SUNDAY, JULY 2

Armed Forces River Parade on the Riverwalk San Antonio | 6:00–7:00 P.M. 
A free patriotic parade dedicated to the men and women who serve in all branches of the Armed Forces. Eighteen star-spangled floats will carry representatives of all six branches of the military. Patriotic and American-themed rock/pop music will play from the floats throughout the 2 1/2-mile downtown parade route on the River Walk.

MONDAY, JULY 3

Firework Fiesta, Max Starcke Park – 650 River Dr West, Seguin | 9:30 P.M.
“Fireworks Fiesta (Max Starcke Park & surrounding area). The night sky will light up with a fireworks display starting at 9:30 p.m. The best views are from Starcke Park and the surrounding area. This should be the biggest show Seguin has ever seen – so you don’t want to miss it.”

Helotes Independence Day Festival, Helotes Festival Grounds | Gates open at 4:00 P.M.

TUESDAY, JULY 4

4th of July Fireworks Spectacular at SeaWorld | 10:30 A.M.–10:00 P.M.
Join us for our 4th of July Fireworks Spectacular where we’ll celebrate America’s independence with a bang! In honor of Independence Day, guests will get in the patriotic spirit when they witness a colorful fireworks display at Bayside – free with admission to SeaWorld. This stunning mix of pyrotechnics is set to a triumphant musical score. This jaw-dropping show will illuminate SeaWorld’s skyline and captivate guests with its spectacular display of colorful flames and twinkling sparks.” Fireworks at 9:45 P.M.

Schertz 4th of July Jubilee | 9:30 A.M.–10:00 P.M.
Join the City of Schertz for a tribute to freedom and fun in 2023! Elements include a morning “Let Freedom Run” 5K and downtown parade; in the evening a carnival, live music, Float & Fireworks, festival food, family zone activities, and a Fireworks Spectacular.

Independence Day at the Alamo | 9:00 A.M.–4:00 P.M.
“Celebrate Independence Day at the Alamo with a variety of demonstrations and programs throughout the day. Stations topics will include 1700s Spanish Colonial soldiers, weaving and Mission life, weapons, leatherwork, artillery, and black powder firing demonstrations. Interactive activities will include period games, kids’ drill, making corn husk or yarn dolls, and more! Visitors will also be able to sign a giant Declaration of Independence.”

Biggest Small- Town Forth of July Parade, 201 South Austin St, Seguin | 10:00 A.M.
Crowds of flag-waving people will line Austin Street for the annual parade. The floats roll at 10 a.m. Past crowd estimates have exceeded 10,000. There will be more than a hundred parade entries including floats from local businesses, elected officials, churches, schools, military representatives, and more.

Make Freedom Green, Woodlawn Lake Park | 11:00 A.M.–9:30 P.M.
“The San Antonio Parks Foundation in partnership with The City of San Antonio Parks and Recreation Department presents The Official City of San Antonio Fourth of July Celebration! The outdoor event is scheduled from 11:00 AM – 9:30 PM at Woodlawn Lake Park. This FREE, family-friendly day will celebrate the birth of our nation and honor our freedom!”

Red, White, and Boom, La Vernia Community Park, 221 San Antonio Road, La Vernia
The City of La Vernia is hosting a picnic in the park with food trucks, water slides, a DJ, and an amazing fireworks show! Feel free to bring your own canopy, lawn chair, blanket, towel, and cooler. Parade at 10:00 A.M., gates for event open at 4:00 P.M., and Fireworks at 9:30 P.M.

4th of July Parade, Windcrest City Hall, 8601 Midcrown | 6:00–9:00 P.M.
“Join your community and celebrate the 4th of July with the City of Windcrest’s Annual 4th of July Parade. The festival will kick off with a greeting from our Mayor, Dan Reese, the Pledge, and a Presentation of Colors. The parade will begin right after our opening ceremony. The parade starts at City Hall and will make its way around the Windcrest Golf Course. The party will then start at the City Hall Parking lot with food, vendors, games, and lots of fun.”
