Rainbow Event Center: A Perfect Place for Your Next San Antonio Event!

We loved partnering with Rainbow Event Center to host an ACMB team meet-up. This is a sponsored post.

On a beautiful September Sunday afternoon, much of the ACMB team and their families met up at the Rainbow Event Center for a team playdate. Rainbow Event Center, located six miles outside of 1604 on IH-10 West, was a fun and relaxed place for our ACMB families and should be top of mind for your next get-together!

Upon arrival, we were delighted to find ample parking and more than ample tree coverage. As our kids spotted the seemingly endless rows of Rainbow Play Systems, Springfree Trampolines, and the Sports Court, they needed no encouragement to get out of the car. The adults exchanged quick hellos and hugs and then began the “trailing behind your children as they explore every possible climbing surface” role all parents know so well. The ACMB kids in attendance ranged from 12 months to 12 years, and every age found multiple things to enjoy. There is a toddler area for the little ones, trampolines, swings, and a slack line for the more sure footed, and Rainbow Play Systems for all ages.

Toddler area

The shady, oak-filled space at Rainbow Event Center has a natural ease and is immensely welcoming. The Play Systems and Springfree Trampolines are spaced out over a two-acre, beautifully landscaped property, giving the feel that you have your own private park. It’s an ideal spot for a birthday party, sports team event, family reunion, play group, or company picnic.

After climbing, running, shooting hoops, and bouncing, guests can retreat to a covered pavilion, one of the many large deck chairs, or even the air-conditioned Party Room. There is a Big Green Egg Grill for those who want to grill out, and for those who are more of the “let someone else do the cooking” mindset, guests are welcome to bring in outside food and drink.

Party room

Interested in planning an event at Rainbow Event Center? There are currently three options (and more being added soon!): Party Room, Pavilion, and/or Toddler Area. The Party Room is a great option for the San Antonio summer months (and—let’s be honest—some of the fall months), when having an air-conditioned space is more necessity than luxury. If you eschew AC, or are hosting a party in the less-hot months, consider renting the well-shaded Pavilion. The Toddler Area can be reserved for the youngest guests. The Party Room and Pavilion each hold about 50–60 guests, while the Toddler Area maxes out at about 30. Rates for a 2.5-hour party start at $99. Rental rates are independent of the number of guests, making it a cost-effective way to host a large group.

Thank you to Rainbow Event Center for welcoming the ACMB Team! We’ll be back!
