Hatch: An Evening for New & Expectant Moms Event Recap

On June 23, 60 new and expectant moms joined Alamo City Moms Blog and University Health System for a night of fun, socializing, and education at the Robert B. Green Campus.

As our attendees arrived, they had the chance to mix and mingle with local businesses that cater to the needs of moms and their growing families. A special thanks to:

We had an incredible spread of giveaway items from a number of our partners, but our biggest prizes were provided by University Health System and included two car seats, a pack n’ play, and five click & go strollers!

Delicious food was provided by Utopia Play Cafe, and each mom walked away with goodie bags filled with items from each of our participating businesses.

Following the reception, attendees gathered for a panel discussion from experts at University Health System. They answered important questions like, “When should I child-proof my house? When can I start having sex again after giving birth? What should I do if my milk isn’t coming in?” and more. We had an hour of important conversation with the doctors and specialists who best know the answers.

This event would not have been possible without the support of University Health System. We also want to thank all of the attendees who joined us, and we look forward to hosting this event again!
