What is LiggettVille?
LiggettVille is located on the second level of the Shops at Rivercenter mall in the heart of downtown San Antonio. As river cruisers float by, they are able to look up and see guests exploring the Sky Trail® adventure ropes course with zip rails, a Sky Tykes® ropes course for small children, and 10 unique and colorful Clip ‘n Climb® walls. If you’re willing to be a little daring, do something physical, and have some major fun while trying something new with family, friends, teammates, or co-workers… this is for you.
It’s Seriously Fun for ALL Ages, Shapes, and Sizes.
Mom and Dad, this isn’t just kid stuff. Teens, parents, grandparents, and chaperones will enjoy harnessing up and maneuvering through the obstacles in the air just as much as children. In case you’re feeling out of shape, please know you do not have to be fit to participate. As a rule of thumb, if you are able to walk up a flight of stairs, you can successfully participate in the ropes course.
The fact that there’s something for everyone makes conquering the ropes course, zip rails, and climbing walls the perfect family outing or couples’ date night! A Premier Combo ticket allows you to experience both the ropes course with zip rails and climbing walls and is approximately a two-hour visit. We suggest using this time to unplug, connect with your group, and encourage or challenge one another.
If you have little ones, they don’t have to miss out on the fun! The smaller Sky Tykes® ropes course with zip rails is situated close to the ground, allowing an adult chaperone to assist. This is the perfect space to watch toddlers work on coordination and witness their confidence transform during just one visit.
Fear of Heights? Not Anymore!
During your time at LiggettVille, you will get physical, feel your heart pumping, and possibly work up a little sweat, but in most cases, you’ll also experience a mental workout. The fear of heights is a pretty common phobia, but often when guests admit to “facing their fears” and trying the ropes course, zip rails, and climbing walls despite their anxieties, they report a feeling of exhilaration afterward.
Explore at Your Own Pace.
Unlike other ropes or challenge courses, the Sky Trail® is unique because there is no requirement to follow a certain path or walk in a specific direction. It’s a real-life “choose your own adventure”! After an operator has outfitted you in your safety gear and explained the rules, you’ll enter the ropes course and walk up a flight of stairs to the first level. If you’re a daredevil and prefer to head directly up to level two, go for it! Otherwise, you can make your way across each obstacle at your own pace, in whatever direction you choose.
Hang on or go hands-free while you test your strength and agility as you traverse across rope ladders, swinging beams, planks, and more. Turn right or left, repeat an obstacle, or skip some altogether.
Did we mention the zip rails are integrated right into the ropes course? Step off the zip platform while you soar through the air over mall guests below, then gently land on the opposite side. If you love the feeling of flying, repeat the zip line again and again!
