The icing on the cake?
It doesn’t have to involve YOU anymore! In fact, you can set up sessions for a time that works for your family’s schedule and go cook dinner in the next room. With two other children at home needing my attention, this was a HUGE selling point for me. It’s not that I don’t feel passionately about 4th-grade math, it’s just… you know… those other kids I have.
Several of our team members decided to try it out with our own students (of different educational levels and ages) and we ALL received the same result—kids who truly felt seen, heard, and HELPED.

So here’s the 4-1-1 on how it works!
- SIGN UP. You have the option of signing up as the student or the parent and can easily find a tutor based on need (struggling with a subject, looking to get ahead, prepping for a test, etc.).
- GET SPECIFIC HELP. After answering a few more questions about your student’s specific needs, you are matched with a tutor and are given the opportunity to have a 15-minute introduction for free.
- SCHEDULE AS NEEDED. You log in at your scheduled time with video chat and the ability to download documents and talk directly to your tutor the entire session. If you need more help, you can schedule with the same tutor for continuity. I love that about the service!
To be honest, one of the biggest issues I had with tutoring is the cost. With kids so behind (thanks, COVID), those tutoring bills can easily add up these days. The amazing thing about GoPeer is that with a membership, we have access to pay-as-you-go tutoring at $20 per month. It’s completely worth it, hands down.
