At Discovery School, We Learn as We Play and Play as We Learn!
Discovery School is a private, non-profit, multi-denominational, nationally accredited, child-centered program for children two years through First Grade.

Year-Round School
Converse Elementary is an Additional Days School Year Campus to better meet the needs of our students (PreK 3 -5th grade). The ultimate goal is to decrease the learning loss from long breaks, such as a traditional summer. The program has many benefits for our students, including having access to a full-time librarian and gifted and talented teacher, additional targeted interventions, and differentiated small group instruction.
Spanish Immersion
The Spanish Immersion Program is designed for English-speaking students who wish to become fluent in Spanish. Students enter the program in first grade. Spanish Immersion teachers follow a scope and sequence for Language Arts that is unique to meet the program’s goals. The scope and sequence for mathematics, science, and social studies match a traditional English-speaking classroom, with the only difference being Spanish as the language of instruction. The inherent nature of these programs creates an active parent-school partnership, which is essential for the success of the program and the student. This program can be found at two of our elementary campuses, Hartman Elementary and Wortham Oaks Elementary.
STEM Programs
Judson ISD is offering STEM programs for students in grades PreK- 12. The mission of FACT Institute, Inc.( Functional Academics, Communication, Transition) is to provide the San Antonio community a facility that will educate, engage, and enrich the lives of youth and adults with special abilities. Spare Parts’ purpose is unprecedented in San Antonio. It is the leader in reuse education through the arts. Spare Parts founded the MINI ART MUSEUM in 2013 to bring the fine arts museum experience to schools and the community, world wide.

The concept behind Friends of Spare Parts dba Spare Parts was developed in 2010 by Founder and Executive Director, Mary Elizabeth Cantú, as a response to the lack of arts funds and resources in PreK-12 classrooms.
In 2018 Spare Parts became a 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization through the Friends of Spare Parts. Spare Parts believes partnership and programs centered on creative reuse practice builds smart, lasting and win/win initiatives. Professional Development Program (RE-Edu), Creative Reuse Education Program (RE-Mix), Spare Parts Exhibitions/Long-term projects (RE-Create) are a few of the creative reuse focused programs and resources offered regularly. As a result, Spare Parts is creating a pathways to reducing landfill tonnage.
Spare Parts inspires and supports the growing San Antonio creative community and our classrooms through environmental accountability. Sustainability, affordability and accessibility to the arts through reuse education is paramount.

Universal City United Methodist Preschool is a high quality, developmentally appropriate preschool located just 5 minutes from Randolph Air Force Base.
