Conversations at the Kitchen Table: Episode 5—Healthy Eating and Nutrition for the Whole Family

Nutrition. It seems like there is new and overwhelming (and many times inaccurate) information out there every day. Fad diets, “do this,” “don’t do that,” should’s and shouldn’ts…it’s never ending. Dr. Illuri joins Erin and Amanda for some common sense talk about nutrition, making healthy choices as a family, and choosing a lifestyle that includes nutrition habits that set you up for long-term health and wellness. From picky eaters (and food therapy!) to fad diets, and intermittent fasting to supplements, the conversation covers a lot of ground. While ACMB is pleased to share this information from Dr. Illuri, please consult with your own physician before making nutritional or diet changes for yourself or family.

Dr. Illuri can be found on Facebook and Instagram as well as on her website, Dr. Illuri’s Pantry, where the cheese cracker and cauliflower rice recipes can be found. Her book, CAN I HAVE A TREAT?: 10 ILLUSTRATED HEALTHY DESSERT RECIPES FOR KIDS, is available in paperback on Amazon and on Kindle. (The link to the book on Amazon is an affiliate link.)
