We Love Our Team! A Look Back at the Archives {Inga, Maggie and Megan}

LoveTeamIt’s hard to believe Alamo City Moms Blog will be celebrating our 1st birthday next week! We have been blown away with the reception we’ve received by our community and are so very grateful for those of you that have joined us along the way. Whether it’s been on the blog, through our social media accounts like Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, or at one of our events like a Play Group or Moms Night Out, we have loved getting to know the families in San Antonio and what makes each of you special.

But there’s a certain group of women that we are especially thankful for and that is our contributors. Alamo City Moms Blog simply wouldn’t exist without these amazing mamas that share their lives with us through the blog. Personally, we think our team is the bomb dot digity and ACMB would not be what it was without their time, efforts and commitment. So this week, we’re going to take a little time to tell you why we think each of these women are so great, and take a little look back at our favorite post of their’s from this year. Join us this week as we give a little love to the Alamo City Moms Blog Contributor Team!

Is there anyone in San Antonio that Inga hasn’t met??? We’re starting to think perhaps not. But if you haven’t had the opportunity to meet Inga, we think you are missing out. Not only is she one of the most brilliant women we think we’ve ever met, but she’s also the voice behind San Antonio Charter Moms, a website that brings together a community of parents supporting charter schools in San Antonio. Inga’s level of professionalism in each of her posts is apparent. She has shared her journeys out and about in San Antonio with us and is our resident expert on art in San Antonio. While we love her posts on how to make the most of getting out and about in San Antonio, we really loved this post from Inga that resonated with so many of our readers:

Money and friendships: Don’t let the differences impact your relationships

Maggie’s posts are enough to leave Pinterest drooling. She is creative, funny and always full of good ideas. Being both an adopted child and an adoptive mother make Maggie our adoption advocate who has brought knowledge and support to those seeking it in San Antonio. She’s also one of our mamas up North, representing the Boerne crew. Maggie will be taking some time off from ACMB to focus on her recently expanded family but she will always have a place at Alamo City Moms Blog! We just loved this past post from Maggie because let’s be honest, boys will be boys!

When we first started Alamo City Moms Blog, we looked for a range of moms that we knew would have a voice that would resonate with San Antonio moms. Some of these moms were ones we knew already and some were moms we looked for through our contributor search. Brooke immediately thought of her friend, Megan, and knew she needed to be part of the team. Megan is one of the most organized moms we know and one that others constantly turn to for advice. She just seems to have it together and she knows her stuff! If Megan wants to know about something, you can bet that she has researched every detail about it and is always happy to share her knowledge. A favorite Megan post of ours from this year involved everything you need to know to make a family trip out to a favorite local destination in:

Family Excursion to Guadalupe River State Park
