Welcome to Alamo City Moms Blog!

July 8th has finally arrived and it feels a little like Christmas morning around here.  While it seems like a decade to us, it was only just two short months ago that the concept of Alamo City Moms Blog began to take shape!

We have been working hard behind the scenes to bring San Antonio a resource for moms – written by San Antonio Moms.  We hope that you will visit us often and enjoy reading our posts as much as we enjoy writing them.  You can expect to find a variety of topics from our amazing contributors, ranging from great San Antonio activities for kids to advice or perspectives from local moms.  You can find a calendar of events to help you figure out child friendly activities around the city.  We will also bring you ways to connect with other San Antonio moms, both online and offline, so be sure to keep an eye out for details about our ACMB Play Groups and Moms Night Out Events.

This week you will have the opportunity to learn more about our team of contributors and what better way than by snooping through our stuff? A group of our moms will let you see “What’s in My Bag?” each day this week as a way of getting to know us.

We are so excited to share 30 Days of Giveaways! In honor of our launch, you will have the chance to win something every Monday through Friday for the next 30 days.  These awesome giveaways will include tickets to local attractions, gift certificates to San Antonio restaurants, products for your kids and home, and even some special treats just for you. Make sure to subscribe to ACMB and like us on Facebook so you don’t miss anything!

Once again, welcome to Alamo City Moms Blog. We are happy to have you and hope you sit back, relax, and enjoy!

  1. I am not a mom. I’m not even a dad. In fact, I’m single and don’t have children. After my office manager discovered your site this morning, I spent some time reading through it and not only did I like it for all the great information, I thought it was an excellent resource for others. So consider me a fan and I will spread the word. I think this site will be a hit in San Antonio, so best of luck to you all and I’ll be checking back in for more. Thanks!

  2. So proud of y’all ladies! This blog is awesome and I am looking forward to all that is ahead!

  5. Congrats! I’m so excited to see what this has in store. Will look forward to learning more about a city that I have loved for many years – and one that’s so full of fun with kids.

  6. This is fantastic! What a wonderful way to showcase our great city from such a relevant perspective. I have a 4 year old boy and a 9 month old little girl and I look forward to getting some good ideas for things to do. Can’t wait for the next post!

  8. I am a grandmother (Nama) of 5 precious children under 8 and number 6 on the way. (Due Jan.) I’m happy to be plugged into this site as I’m always looking for new things to buy, new places to take the kids, and new ideas for sharing with my daughters.
