Summer of Play – Splash and Learn

Summer is for a lot of things but we think that the best parts of summer are the playing and the learning that comes through that play. Be it a new skill tried at camp, a new book read or a new interest discovered – there is room for playing to learn all summer long. We’re thrilled to join our friends at San Antonio Charter Moms (a resource and community that supports parents in finding best-fit education opportunities for all kids) for their “Summer of Play” event series.

The casual come-and-go playdates are totally free and held at San Antonio area splash pads.

The family-friendly meetups are designed to help children shed bad habits brought on by the pandemic while having a ton of fun along the way. From increasing finger strength and dexterity to balancing screen time and sharpening social skills – each event offers valuable educational tips from local experts mixed with creative, hands-on activities to keep kids entertained.

Alamo City Moms will be at each event with a fun make-and-take activity and some mom-worthy swag.
