Summer is upon us, and the name of the game is, “Keep the Kids Occupied.” Many schools send home reading tasks but reading should be for fun, too. The public libraries in the Alamo City and surrounding areas provide an option to occupy the kids and keep them learning all summer long.

This small community center has programming for both children and adults. They are fully open with in-person storytimes, LEGO Robotics, Scratch coding, and more. The New Braunfels Public Library hosts events and storytimes for all ages, both on campus and at local parks. Summer reading kicks off Saturday, June 3, 10:00 a.m–1:00 p.m. NBPL Event Calendar is the key to Tai Chi, Pajama Story Time, and more.
Patrick Heath Public Library | Boerne

San Antonio Public Library
“Welcome to Summer with SAPL 2023! The San Antonio Public Library is offering people of all ages opportunities to read, learn, explore, and connect.
