“Trunk-or-Treat” Events In and Around San Antonio—October 2021

Halloween is just around the corner and there are tons of events around town where your little ones will have the opportunity to dress up and have fun. If you like the convenience of trick-or-treating in just one place, you will love “Trunk-or-Treat.” Check out our list of some events taking place in and around San Antonio this October.

October 7th

NBTT6 Trunk or Treat

Description: NB TRAIL TEAM 6, a group of Jeep Enthusiasts, is organizing this fun Halloween event to show off their TRICKED out Jeeps. Free candy until it runs out.

Trunk or Treat Events in Garden Ridge

Description: A free family event with lots of candy and fun for kids!
Time: 3:00–5:00 p.m.

October 24th

Harvest Celebration at Coker UMC

Description: A drive-thru trunk-or-treat event full of fun and fellowship. Kids and families are invited to wear their costumes.
Time: 3:30–5:00 p.m.

October 29th

Latched Trunk or Treat

Description: Wear your spookiest costumes and join the fun with Latched Support, for lots of candy, a “best trunk” contest, and more. This is a free outdoor event but will require masks when walking around to booths with children.

Fall Festival (Trunk or Treat)

Description: Trunk-or-treat, laser tag, hayrides, carnival games, a cake walk, inflatables, food & drinks, and more, will be part of this event organized by the First Assembly of God San Antonio.

Trunk or Treat by THRC San Marcos

Description: The fitness center is inviting the public to this free community event! They will have decorated trunks set up for families to enjoy and are also offering a Spooky Cycle class for $5.

October 30th

2nd Annual Night Owl Kustom Paints Trunk Or Treat

Description: This is a Trunk-or-Treat Car Show organized by Night Owl Kustom Paint. They promise lots of fun and will have a haunted house/shop as well. The fun includes a costume contest, car show awards, live performances, food, competitions, and live scary monsters.

Candy Cruise in Schertz

Description: Even though the city of Shertz canceled its traditional trunk-or-treat event, they will have a drive-through Candy Cruise from 2:00–5:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 30, 2021.
Time: 2:00–5:00 p.m.

Helotes Trunk or Treat

Description: This event in Old Town Helotes, hosted by Helotes Hills United Methodist Church, provides the opportunity for kids to trick-or-treat in a safe place on the day before Halloween.

The City of Selma’s 3rd Annual Trunk Or Treat Drive Through

Description: Wear your costumes and drive through for some trick-or-treating fun! The event is organized by the Selma Police Department.

Trunk or Treat in Converse

Description: The Converse Police Department is organizing this free trunk-or-treat event, where you will also find photo ops, face painting, and lots of fun!

D2D Team Trunk or Treat Fundraiser

Description: Dance by Design Studios is organizing a trunk-or-treat fundraising event where you will find candy, games, dance performances, and more. Tickets are $5 per child or $10 per family.

Live Loud Fall Festival

Description: Live Loud and Alamo City Stangs invite you to their Fall Festival Trunk or Treat event, with family fun and games! 50% of proceeds will go towards the Children’s Shelter Glenda Woods Campus.

Nightmare on Maple Street

Description: The Bandera Marshal’s Office presents Nightmare on Maple Street at Bandera City Park. This year they will have costume contests, best trunk contests, bounce houses, DJ Big E, door prizes, and much more.
