School holidays—love them or loathe them, they come every fall & winter and remind us how much we love our kids’ teachers. If you’re looking ahead to Thanksgiving and Winter Break as well as Single Day School Holidays (ex: President’s Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, etc) and thinking, I’ve got to find something for these kids to do so I can work/clean/cook/gift wrap/not lose my mind, we’ve rounded up some great options in San Antonio.

Join us November 21 – 23, December 19 – 22, and December 28 – 30 for The DoSeum’s Holiday Camps! All fun and learning of a DoSeum camp inspired by winter holiday themes and exploration in our interactive exhibits and engaging Educator activities to keep minds at play all day!

The Witte Museum Holiday Camps
Fall Favorites Cooking Camp: Nov. 21-22
Join us for a culinary celebration! Children ages 8-12 are invited to participate in two days of chopping, dicing and baking fun at the Witte Museum.
Toy Maker Camp: Dec. 26-30
What makes a great toy? Join us for a week of play and exploration of toys from past and present. Make, test and improve toys of different types, and explore the features that make them special.

Country Home Holiday Camps
We invite our After School students to attend Country Home on public school holidays. Field trips are planned on these days to exciting and educational local attractions, including horseback riding, visits to our petting zoo, and picnics at our privately owned “Adventure Quest” ranch in Boerne for our San Antonio locations!
