Fall is here, and the time to visit pumpkin patches has begun. But Halloween is also quickly approaching, and it’s never too early to start making plans. In the 10th edition of the Annual Alamo City LX Modern Mopar Trunk-r-Treat, there will be scary fun and a costume contest for children ages 9 and under.

Trunk-or-Treat by City of Schertz, Saturday, October 26, 5:00–8:00 P.M. at Pickrell Park (703 Oak St., Schertz, TX 78154) | FREE!
Hosted by Schertz Fire Rescue, in partnership with the City of Schertz and the Schertz Family YMCA, this Trunk-or-Treat event offers sweet treats for participants and games and activities like a hayride and walk through a haunted bus.

Halloween Trick-or-Treat Market, Saturday, October 26, 3:00–8:00 P.M. at Travis Park (301 E. Travis St., San Antonio, TX 78205) | FREE!
Local businesses will provide Halloween fun for the community, including treats, shopping, food, and games.

CPD Trunk-or-Treat, Saturday, October 26, 5:00 P.M. at Converse North Park (8201 Spring Town St., Converse, TX 78109) | FREE!
This event represents a good opportunity for the kids to get candy and goodies and have some Halloween fun! The Converse Parks and Recreation Commission will have a movie in the park after the event (once it is dark enough).

Trunk-or-Treat, Saturday, October 26, 4:00 P.M. at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, School, and Childcare (6914 Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78240) | FREE!
The event will take place in the upper church parking lot. Trunks will be open, and participants will be passing out treats to children. There will be a puppet show presented for all to enjoy as well as a photo area!

Windcrest PD Halloween Trunk-or-Treat Spooktacular, Thursday, October 31, 6:00–9:00 P.M. at Windcrest Fire Department (8601 Midcrown Dr., Windcrest, TX 78239) | FREE!
The 7th annual WPD Trunk-or-Treat Spooktacular will take place on Halloween night. Windcrest PD will have patrol cars loaded with candy for all trick-or-treaters, and the Windcrest Fire Department will set up a haunted house in the fire bay. The City will have special Halloween movie screening outside the haunted house.
