2020 Thanksgiving Roundup: Where to Dine-In and Carry Out This Turkey Day

In years past, I was the queen of meal planning and prepping. I wrote lists, shopped seasonal items for best priced options, and chopped and prepped ingredients every Sunday to make sure the following week always started on the right foot – with good food. This year, I can barely remember to pick up my curbside order each week. Everything is makeshift. Work and school are makeshift. Meals are makeshift. This year, for me, is not about food. This year is about survival.

2020 has chugged along so very slowly, and as ready as I am to launch into the new year and start fresh, I still can’t help but long for a traditional, pre-pandemic Thanksgiving holiday. Thanksgiving, unlike this year, is always about food. And darn it, all other things aside, food we will have!

If prepping, chopping, and baking sound like more hurdles you don’t want to jump through this year, look no further. This Thanksgiving, instead of waking up at the crack of dawn to roast your turkey, sleep in, kick up your feet, and leave the cooking to the pros! We’ve rounded-up a list of local favorites for dine-in and carry out options so you and your loved ones can share an unforgettable meal – without the kitchen stress! – to celebrate this very unforgettable year.
