San Antonio Physicians and Therapists for Children

A round-up of ACM’s Community & Conversation Recommendations

As parents, it seems there’s always something or someone to worry about. I worry about a lot of little things all the time, but when something serious needs attention, I find the best recommendations for care come from other parents. There’s something to be said about finding comfort in the advice from fellow moms, dads, and caretakers – those adults in the trenches with kids every day.

As we live in a more virtual world now, it’s great to still be able to connect with other parents in Alamo City Mom’s Community & Conversations Facebook group. In this group, you’ll find fellow parents, grandparents, and caretakers sharing insights, tips (and asking questions, too!) about all things kids and family. Questions on children-specific physicians and therapists come up quite often, so we’ve rounded up a list of your most commonly searched interests with listings and recommendations shared by our very own members.

  1. Hi Kimberly,

I loved and appreciated your article. Parents need to know how to reach good help especially for their children. I would love to be added to your list of child/ marriage and family therapists. I am a mom of two young boys, 5 and 2, and have my own private practice called Anew Family Counseling Center. I have a team of therapists who work with a variety of issues including children with disabilities, LGBTQ teens and parent support. We can be reached at 210-455-0581 or http://www.anewfcc.com

    Thanks again,

    Dr. Roxanna Ramirez, LMFT-S, LPC-S
