
School holidays—love them or loathe them, they come every fall & winter and remind us how much we love our kids’ teachers. If you’re looking ahead to Thanksgiving and Winter Breaks and thinking, I’ve got to find something for these kids to do so I can clean/cook/gift wrap/work/not lose my mind, we’ve rounded up some great options for Thanksgiving and winter break camps in San Antonio. YMCA Holiday Break Camps

Camps at the Y are about discovery. Children ages 5 to 13 have the opportunity to explore, discover new talents, gain independence, and make lasting friendships and memories. This holiday season, the Y will be hosting a Thanksgiving Holiday camp at Journey Fellowship Church, November 23 – 25, and a Winter Holiday Camp at Journey Fellowship Church from December 21 -23 and December 28 – 30. Camp times are from 7 am to 6 pm. All CDC COVID-19 Safety Guidelines will be in place.
The DoSeum Holiday Camps

The DoSeum’s Holiday Camps explore STEM, art, and literacy concepts while keeping your mind at play all day! Design your own fashion collection, build a board game that lights up, or even collaborate with other campers to build a skyscraper! DoSeum Holiday Camps will be held at The DoSeum on November 23 – 25, December 21-23, and December 28 – 30. Space is limited don’t wait to register!
Country Home Learning Center

We invite our school-aged students to attend special activities planned at Country Home on public school holidays. Students enjoy active, fun-filled days that provide a variety of choices throughout our facility. When permitted, field trips are planned on these days to exciting and educational local attractions. Our camps will be held at all of our 8 San Antonio locations over Thanksgiving Break (November 23-25) and Winter Break (December 21-24 and December 28-31).

Fall Outdoor Camps

Are your kids tired of Zoom calls and staring in front of their computer? Need them to get out and enjoy the fresh air? Try our new in-person classes held outdoors at Hemisfair. Students will have fun exploring the basics of theatre by learning how actors use their bodies, voices, and imaginations while in an outside setting environment practicing social distancing. Limited number of registrations will be available – limit 5 students per class.

J-Camp

Join us and celebrate this amazing time of year with your friends at the J, where our number one priority is your child’s health and safety. The JCC will offer three options to choose from during this 3-day fall break before Thanksgiving November 23-25. General Camp, Sports Camp & Tennis Camp. JCC Winter Camp runs December 21-31 (Closed Dec. 25 & January 1).
