Little Spurs Pediatric Urgent Care was created when Dr. Thomas Spurgat realized that most patients waiting in the Emergency Room for treatment are not there for life threatening emergencies, yet still need care that is not available in most pediatric offices. So, in 2006, he opened the first Little Spurs clinic off of Bandera Road and from there has assembled a skilled staff of pediatric emergency room experienced, board certified pediatricians, and experienced advanced practice practitioners who are highly qualified to take care of your child’s minor emergencies.

I spent over 15 years working with victims of crime, primarily sexual assault, domestic violence and drunk driving. At Shooting For Success, we’re so much more than basketball training. We are a youth and elite basketball organization dedicated to teaching athletes the correct basketball fundamentals, a better understanding of the game, and a set of core values we expect our players to demonstrate on and off the court. We offer basketball camp, weekly, throughout the summer and during school breaks. We know that overexposure to screens and social media is causing negative health outcomes for kids (both physical and emotional). We know that this is only getting worse.
Camp is one of the few places left where we can cut the technological umbilical cord and kids (and even teenagers!) will thank us for it. Showing kids that they can be spectacular without a phone in their hands may be one of the most important outcomes of camp in 2023.

Language Immersion Summer Camps in French, Spanish, Mandarin and Russian
Our week-long summer language immersion camps are a fun opportunity for children ages 3-10 to begin learning a new language or keep their skills during school breaks. Campers participate in hands-on activities, such as arts and crafts, cooking, games, storytelling, and singing while acquiring a target language.
