This innovative program, created by Rise Recovery and partner BRAINATION, is centered on high school students seeking sobriety from drugs and alcohol in a safe, understanding and positive academic environment. Rise Recovery is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization whose mission is to help teens, young adults and families overcome the effects of drugs and alcohol and partner with the community in education and prevention. Through support groups, recovery mentoring, peer coaching, prevention education and longstanding partnerships, Rise Recovery transforms the lives of thousands of individuals and families each year. BRAINATION is at the forefront of innovative facilitating and learning methods. They have redefined traditional approaches to education and are becoming a leader in world-class learning—helping students to become expert learners and leaders, encouraging students to lead principle-centered lives, and inspiring students to belong, be great, and find joy. A parent of one Rise Inspire Academy student expressed it best, “I was broken and desperate for a program like [this]. The mission of FACT Institute, Inc.( Functional Academics, Communication, Transition) is to provide the San Antonio community a facility that will educate, engage, and enrich the lives of youth and adults with special abilities.
